• Account Information: Name, age, gender, email address (from Google/Apple Sign-In)
• Profile Information: Bio, interests, profile photos
• User Content: Chat messages, friend requests, ratings/reviews

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

• Location Data: Approximate location for proximity-based matching (used only for finding nearby users, never shared with other users)
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers
• Usage Data: App interactions, features used, match history
• Camera & Microphone: Used only during video calls (not recorded or stored)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the Cream Connect service
• Match you with other users based on preferences and location
• Enable video calls and chat functionality
• Send notifications about matches, friend requests, and app updates
• Improve our app and develop new features
• Ensure safety and prevent misuse
• Comply with legal obligations

3. How We Share Your Information

We do NOT sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• With Other Users: Your profile information (name, age, bio, photos) is visible to users you match with
• Service Providers: Third-party services that help us operate (Firebase, cloud hosting)
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect rights and safety

4. Video Calls & Privacy

Important: All video calls are peer-to-peer connections between users. We do NOT record, store, or have access to the content of your video calls. All calls are ephemeral and end-to-end between users only.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/WSS)
• Secure authentication via Firebase
• Regular security audits
• Limited employee access to user data

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights & Choices

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Delete: Request deletion of your account and data (within Settings)
• Opt-Out: Disable location services or notifications in device settings
• Update: Modify your profile information at any time

7. Children's Privacy

Cream Connect is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from users under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, please contact us immediately.

8. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account:

• Profile information is deleted within 30 days
• Chat messages are deleted immediately
• Some data may be retained for legal compliance (e.g., reports, safety logs)

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in compliance with applicable laws.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via app notification or email. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

11. Third-Party Services

Cream Connect uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, cloud messaging, analytics
• Google/Apple Sign-In: Secure authentication
• Cloud Storage: Profile photo hosting
